Adapted from the author’s ARCH402D Children’s Museum project booklet and published with her permission. Sensorium is an academic children’s museum proposal by Architect Elif Naz Sürücü for Hasköy, on Istanbul’s Golden Horn. The project brings together storytelling, sensory exploration, play, landscape and architectural design. Its central idea is that children can encounter stories through spaces, materials, sounds, light and movement, alongside spoken and written language.
