Mr.Metin, I can see your tiredness. First of all, thank you for your time. I would like to ask a few short questions. Because it sets an example for both European and African Architects.
- What is Furniture Design and What is luxury furniture?
- Please, first of all, thank you for coming this far and interviewing me.
Furniture design refers to the creation and development of new ideas for furniture products. It involves the use of materials, techniques, styles, and aesthetics to produce functional and visually appealing pieces for homes, offices, and public spaces. Furniture designers consider factors such as ergonomics, durability, and sustainability when creating their designs, and may use computer-aided design (CAD) tools to visualize and refine their ideas. The end goal of furniture design is to create functional and attractive pieces that meet the needs and wants of customers. Luxury furniture refers to high-end, expensive furniture pieces that are made from premium materials and are designed with a focus on quality, style, and comfort. These pieces are often unique and handcrafted, using the finest materials and traditional techniques. Luxury furniture is typically associated with luxury interiors and is used to create elegant, sophisticated environments. Examples of luxury furniture include antique pieces, hand-carved wooden furniture, designer pieces made from fine leather or fabrics, and custom-made furniture crafted specifically for a particular space. The aim of luxury furniture is to provide a high level of comfort, style, and beauty, while also making a statement and serving as a reflection of the owner's taste and wealth.

Technological advancements: The use of technology and automation in furniture manufacturing is my expecting to increase, leading to improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Sustainability: With growing concern about environmental impact, the demand for sustainable and eco-friendly furniture is my expecting to increase, presenting opportunities for companies to differentiate themselves and capture new markets.
Global competition: Turkey's furniture industry will face increased competition from other countries, particularly in Asia, which may impact its competitiveness and market position.
Economic stability: The stability of the Turkish economy will play a significant role in the future of the furniture industry, with fluctuations in the exchange rate and interest rates potentially affecting the industry's growth and competitiveness.
