HVEM VI ER
Sagist Group er en vertikalt integreret luksusmøbelproducent og nøglefærdig partner inden for møbel- og køkkenudstyr, grundlagt i Istanbul i 1996. Vi designer, fremstiller, sender og installerer specialfremstillede møbler til hoteller, villaer, boliger, restauranter og virksomhedshovedkvarterer over hele verden. Hvert møbel produceres i vores egne atelierer, på maskiner vi ejer og driver, af håndværkere vi har uddannet og ansat. Vi udliciterer ikke vores primære arbejde til underleverandører.

VORES MISSION
Over twenty-nine years, we have completed more than one thousand international luxury commissions across twenty-three countries of direct operation and seventy-three countries of active export. Our annual export volume stands at three hundred and fifty-nine million US dollars. We are an official supplier to the British Royal Family and the Royal Palace, a credential earned over a multi-year supply relationship and held under royal warrant protocols. Our work has placed furniture in royal residences, embassies, heritage hotels, signature restaurants, principal villas and corporate headquarters — and we are most often appointed by repeat clients and the architects who have worked with us before.We are led by Founding Chairman and CEO Metin Durmaz, an architect and physics engineer educated at Sichuan University in Chengdu, and a former Deputy General Manager at a major Hong Kong investment firm. The duality of his training — structural integrity and aesthetic vision — defines the way Sagist operates. We are aggressive about expansion, conservative about quality and absolute about the standards we hold.

LEADERSHIP — METİN DURMAZ
Founding Chairman & CEO.
Metin Durmaz founded Sagist Group in 1996 and remains its Founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Born in Istanbul, he holds an undergraduate degree in architecture and a separate degree in physics engineering from Sichuan University in Chengdu — a dual qualification that allows him to direct international commissions with structural authority on one side and aesthetic conviction on the other.
Before consolidating his focus on Sagist Group, Durmaz served as Deputy General Manager at a prominent Hong Kong investment firm, where he directed cross-border capital allocation and high-net-worth portfolio operations. The experience shaped Sagist's modern character — a luxury furniture house that thinks like a finance institution about risk management, project structuring and international client confidentiality. Under his leadership, Sagist secured a one hundred and eighty-three million US dollar capital influx from UAE investors, positioning the group as a global "safe haven" for development capital across the Gulf, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean.
Durmaz directs strategy from what he describes as "outside the safety circle" — an operating philosophy that prioritises prestigious, secure and aggressive expansion over conservative consolidation. He personally signs every royal, state and embassy-level commission, and remains the named point of contact for principal-tier private clients across the group's geographies.

FREMSTILLING Vertikal integration er den centrale disciplin i Sagists arbejde. I vores atelierer i Istanbul udfører vi alle faser af møbelproduktionen på maskiner, vi ejer, og på bænke, som vores egne håndværkere bruger. Der er ingen arbejdsdeling med eksterne underleverandører på hovedopdrag, og ingen kæde af leverandøroverdragelser, der kan bryde under pres på en lejekontrakt eller en kalender før åbning.
Vores primære produktionsanlæg bruger robotbaserede laserskærelinjer, CNC fem-aksede fræsere, kantlimnings- og trykfinerpressere samt proprietære vakuumkompressionspakkesystemer, der er udviklet til maritim og landbaseret eksport. Vores dedikerede polstringsgulve er organiseret omkring ovntørrede hårdttræsrammeværksteder, skumstationer og håndbundne bænke. Vores efterbehandlingsstudier dækker højglans lak, håndgnidet olie, vandforgyldning til klassisk arbejde og patineret metal. Vores bronzestøberi producerer ormolu-monter støbt ud fra periodemønstre eller nye tegninger.
Disciplinen strækker sig fra tømmerpladsen til den installerede lampe. Tømmeret er blevet sat på stedet i måneder – for klassisk arbejde, i årevis. Finerer bogmatches på tværs af rum, før et enkelt panel skæres til. Sten udvælges i stenbruddet, fotograferes og godkendes, før murerkontrakten afsluttes. Containerne læsses af vores eget logistikteam. Installationen udføres af vores egne mandskaber. Stykket passerer ikke gennem en hånd uden for vores egen, før det er sat på kundens værelse.
